APPROVAL OF MINUTES
A motion was made to accept the September 10, 2015 minutes. The motion had a second and was approved.
PROJECT UP-DATE
- LaRoy stated that the MDEQ PAC Support Grant was accepted by City Council at their last Council Meeting. A few minor changes were discussed: the amount for website maintenance was reduced to $150, and the media outreach funding was dropped from $5,700 to $2,600 due to the short time to expense funds in 2016.
- A strategic planning workshop was included in the support grant. December or January dates were discussed. Danielle Conroyd was discussed as the workshop facilitator. Because of the short time frame necessary to set up such a workshop a sub-committee was established. Sub-committee members consist of Maureen Pfund, Barry LaRoy, Brian Egan, Melanie Foose, and Dan Stefanski. The sub-committee will meet on Tuesday October 13, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. The sub-committee will keep COTE posted on the workshop details.
AOC COORDINATOR (MDEQ UP-DATE)
Melanie Foose (MDEQ) said she had a little to add to the meeting. She discussed the deformities BUI in relation to Bald Eagle Data currently under review. Advised members that the Fish and Wildlife investigations have been funded for another year. And concluded by saying that the NAPL issue is close to 100% approved by WRD.
ITEMS FROM MEMBERS
Stefanski suggested that with the resignation of Bob Potter the Commissioners might want to ask Milward Beaudry if he is interested. Stefanski agreed to contact Milward.
With no other business the meeting was adjourned at 7:54 pm.
