NAPL / PCB Sediment Remediation Project/Event

Project is 99.9% competed

29,580 cubic yards of sediment have been removed; 1252 loads of material have been trucked out; 900,000 gallons of waste water has been treated.

Final Capping will begin on October 24, 2016

PAC Grant 2016-

All pictures taken were reviewed by Commission.

River Clean up was a success, Duffy Towing donated time to reach the larger debris along with City workers, Brian hauled off $33.00 worth of scrap.

Field Guide “stuffers” will go out in Water Bill

Flowering Rush Grant

Final Spray of season will be done October 14; Munson Park to Hellenberg park

SPAC – Fall Meeting October 27-28 Water Strategy report will be released.

Great Lakes Restoration Meeting Event will be October 21, 2016 at the Henry Ford

Melanie will begin to write up a Benthos and Dredging BUI removal paper this winter.
