Melanie Foose (MDEQ) reviewed with the Commissioners that the EPA is still      working on a final plan to address the DNAPL issue.  She will keep us up-dated as the situation progresses. The Raisin is still considered a priority AOC, however the MDEQ understands that delisting can only occur after remediation of the DNAPL issue.

Ice movement of the boulders in two of the rock arch ramps were discussed. LaRoy explained that the winter ice break up in the Raisin caused displacement of using re-rod set into holes drilled through the boulders and then re-rod will be epoxied to the bed rock bottom of the Raisin. Hopefully this will cement the negatively affected by future ice movement.

Stefanski stated that he would not attend the August meeting for he had been offered a chance to attend the Algae Bloom MAEP and Conservation Practices Day Conference on August 14, 2014.  He said he will take pictures of the algae bloom to share with Commissioners.

With no other business the meeting was adjourned at 7:50 pm.
